Latvian Market Association

The Latvian Market Association is currently in development, bringing together markets, initiatives, and partners for joint growth.

Its aim is to strengthen the role of markets in Latvia, foster collaboration between markets, producers, and municipalities, and develop new solutions in food systems, tourism, and urban environments.

The association is being formed as an open platform where it is possible to:

• build collaborations between markets and small producers

• develop new market formats and ideas

• share knowledge and strengthen the overall market ecosystem in Latvia

Currently

We invite you to join two online workshops on the development of local food markets in Latvia, taking place on April 9 and April 30 at 11:00 (each ~2 hours).

The workshops are organised within the European project FOODCITYBOOST and aim to explore the role of markets in local food systems, exchange experiences, and outline future development directions in Latvia.
